With deep sadness, LEFSA announces that our team member Mario Pimentel passed away unexpectedly. Mario was a vital part of the LEFSA team since 2016, doing shelter outreach and recently coordinating our Creativity Program. “Mario was a huge part of LEFSA, and he was also a huge part of our lives. We feel a sense of loss. But we are hanging in there,” says LEFSA Director Carl Petrus. A tribute to Mario will take place at the Leadership Study Day on October 14.
