Just wanted to share the good news—we got a big donation of socks because of the sock drive announcement on our website!
Maureen Reiser, who recently became Sisters of Charity Associate was interested in doing something for people who are homeless and she found our website and the announcement about the sock drive online. She works for Our Lady of Refuge School in the Bronx and is an advisor for the Student Council there. Together they put together a school-wide drive for us and just dropped off 2 big bags of brand new socks!
