On Wednesday, September 27th, Team Member James Butler attended a Resource Fair Sponsored by the Mayor’s Office. Various City Departments were presents including: The Department of Transportation, Department of Finance, NYPD, Economic Development Corporation, Department of Education, Department of Health, Small Business Services, Department of Veterans Affairs, Human Resources Administration and many more.
The Fair took place at The Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial and Education Center. It was a great opportunity to network and exchange contact information with various City Officials.
James Butler also attended a Town Hall held by the Mayor. The Town Hall took place on Thursday, September 28th at the Johnson Community Center in Harlem. It was an opportunity for the Harlem Community Residents to bring up issues and question to the Mayor and seeks solutions. Some of the discussed topics included rezoning and gentrification.
